Cage Repair

Summary The primary responsibility of this position is the repair of broken live haul cage doors. As well as monitor and perform routine maintenance on the cooling shed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must be able to weld steel and aluminum. Maintain a safe and clean work environment following OSHA standards as well as facility health and safety standards. Must be able to work in outside conditions all seasons and lift over 50lbs. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Must be able to drive a forklift or be able to get a forklift license.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

and/or Experience Knowledge of Poultry Plant Production Knowledge/Skills Maintenance experience preferred including welding Supervisory Responsibilities List the supervisory responsibilities the position must perform; include the department or position titles responsible for and the level of authority exercised in performing the responsibilities.
