Capacity Manager

Description Location: Omaha, NE Schedule: Full-time, generally Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Travel: About 10%, as business needs require Join Our Team Do you lead from the front, make decisions with data, and love the chase of finding the right truck at the right rate? Hill Bros Logistics is looking for a Capacity Manager to lead our team of Capacity Coordinators and Carrier Sales Representatives.

This role blends sales, account management, and operations leadership. You’ll coach a team, shape our pricing, and grow the carrier network that keeps our customers moving. What You’ll Do Lead and Coach: Develop your team to build strong carrier relationships, run account reviews, and deliver exceptional service every day Buy Smart: Use carrier analytics and market data to guide negotiations and buying decisions Set the Market: Track trends and seasonality to set pricing by market, daily, weekly, and monthly Grow the Network: Research new carriers, generate leads, and turn them into lasting partnerships Drive Performance: Track and trace carriers to hit our 100% on-time pickup and delivery target Connect the Dots: Serve as the liaison between Account Managers and the Capacity team to match capacity with customer needs Innovate: Spot opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve the carrier experience Requirements What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of proven team management experience leading two or more people Logistics sales experience preferred Comfort with carrier analytics, market data, and pricing decisions Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; TMW Suite experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered Strong communicator who can coach, negotiate, and present with confidence Self-motivated, accountable, and persistent, with fresh ideas to bring to the team Why Join Hill Bros?
