In Japan, Second Foundation operates as an aggregator and developer in the electricity market, with a particular focus on battery energy storage systems (BESS), dispatch optimization, and market trading—further strengthening our global commitment to advancing the future of energy.
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our ** Tokyo Dispatching T eam ** .
** What you would work on ? **
- Oversee the da ily operation s of the Second Foundation energy asset portfolio , including cogeneration units, battery systems, biogas plants, and large-scale consumption facilities.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and partners to provide updates and address inquiries regarding their equipment's performance.
- Collaborate with IT and analytics team s to enhance tools, applications and systems t hat support data-driven decisions .
- Assist in planning and optimizing energy flexibility capacities in response to current market conditions.

- Excellent communication skills .
- Fluency in English.
- Solid experience with spreadsheets and report creation using MS Excel.
- Electrotechnical education and prior dispatcher experience are a plus.
- Currently based in Tokyo**, or willing to relocate to Tokyo prior to joining.
