Upholstery Pattern Marker Designer

This individual performs lay creation, revisions and related activities necessary for the efficient production of quality patterns and cut files. Using established procedures, gathers and correlates basic data and applies phases of approved industrial engineering policies and practices. Works with Data Processing, Scheduling, Payroll, Engineering and Manufacturing on manufacturing problems and cost reduction projects.

Participates in Flexsteel's continuous improvement process by working with a zero defects attitude, utilizes problem solving skills with inputs and outputs, and verifies that all processes are capable of meeting customers' mutually agreed upon requirements.
