Staff Radiographer / Mammographer

POSITION SUMMARY:# Produces radiographic and diagnostic studies using a variety of imaging modalities # with a focus on Mammography -- under the clinical supervision of a Radiologist.# Evaluates quality of radiographic images, provides a safe patient environment, and participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS. TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: # Minimum Required:# Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or the equivalent.# Registered, or registry eligible in Mammography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with up to date continuing education credits.# BCLS certified; recertification required annually.

RT(R) (M) with MQSA guidelines. # Preferred:#################### Associate Degree in radiography and ARRT certified.#
