Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate will perform all work in a professional manner which pertains to the operation and maintenance of a commercial tire warehouse. Employees in this position will primarily be working inside the warehouse and must be focused on both safety and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

Assist the Warehouse Manager and/or Store Manager in shipping and receiving customer tires May be responsible for filling in for drivers and delivering tires Load, unload, stack and lift tires Use of certain warehouse equipment, including forklift operation Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas Any other duties assigned by the manager Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of commercial warehouse experience Valid Driver’s License Clean driving record For insurance purposes, all applicants must be 21 years or older Forklift experience (onsite training certification available) Knowledge of commercial tire products and services preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Dependable

Required Physical Abilities: Physical requirements of this position may require a range of activities. These can include, but are not limited to: Lifting and carrying – the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly. Standing and walking – this position will require standing and walking for periods of time Bending and stooping – bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position. Reaching and pushing/pulling – the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities. Sitting – there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time. This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely. Work Environment: This position will require employees to work in certain weather conditions, such as heat, cold, as well as potentially confined spaces.
