Automation Project Manager

Summary Buhler Group in Casablanca, Morocco is looking for a passionate Automation Project Manager to join our Automation team. This position will be responsible for leading automation projects from initiation to commissioning, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end automation projects, from scope definition and planning through design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project schedules, resources, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Monitor project performance, identify risks or deviations, and implement corrective actions to meet customer and business objectives.

Develop and review PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions, ensuring compliance with functional specifications, testing requirements, and quality standards. Provide technical expertise during system integration, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities while maintaining accurate project documentation.

Qualifications

Engineering degree (Bac+5) or Master's in Automation, Electrical, Control, Mechatronics or Industrial Computing. Experience in industrial automation projects, including managing projects. Good knowledge of industrial networks (Prof. Net, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA). Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (VB .

NET, C#, SQL). Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Fluent French and English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
