Activity Assistant

Heath Village is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our vibrant Activities Department! Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents Engage residents in activities, ensuring their participation and enjoyment while providing support as needed Maintain a safe and clean environment for all activities, adhering to health and safety regulations Document resident participation and feedback to help evaluate the effectiveness of programs Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate special events and outings for residents The ability to work collaboratively with other staff members enhances the overall effectiveness of the activities offered.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication, interpersonal abilities and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Certification in recreational therapy or a related field. Experience in planning and leading group activities. Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals in a care setting Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 5:30pm
