Journeyman Electrician - Salina, KS

Journeyman Electrician Salina, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team at our our facility in Salina, KS. This role works Monday-Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus occasional overtime, as required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance.

Willing to learn and/or work on mechanical/electrical hardware CNC and PLC troubleshooting. Must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills. Maintains equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs. Ability to perform electronic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments.

Provide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures are maintained. Help with scheduling down time for machine repairs or preventive maintenance. Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment. Other duties may be assigned that require additional qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
