Part-Time Nursery Tag Puller

Department: Distribution / Nursery Operations Job Type: Part-Time Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday Starting Time: Between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM Ending Time: Until assigned work is completed Position Summary Magnolia Gardens Nursery is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Nursery Tag Puller to assist with preparing plant identification tags for customer orders.

This position plays an important role in ensuring that plant tags are accurately pulled, counted, and organized to support daily nursery operations and shipping schedules. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pull plant identification tags according to customer orders and daily production requirements. Verify plant names, varieties, sizes, and quantities to ensure accuracy. Sort and organize tags by customer order, route, or designated location. Ensure all required tags are prepared and available for the distribution team.

Identify and report missing, incorrect, or insufficient tag inventory. Maintain an organized and clean tag storage and work area. Communicate discrepancies or concerns to supervisors. Complete assigned tasks accurately and within required deadlines. Assist with additional nursery-related duties when needed.

Qualifications

and Requirements Previous nursery or warehouse experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic reading, counting, and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Willingness to learn plant names and varieties.

Ability to work a flexible afternoon and evening schedule. Work Schedule and Availability Workdays: Sunday through Thursday. Start Time: Between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, depending on operational needs. End Time: Employees must be available to work until all assigned tag-pulling duties are completed. Hours: Part-time; daily hours may vary depending on order volume and workload.

Flexibility during busy shipping periods is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry boxes or materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy. Comfortable working in a nursery or warehouse environment.
