About This Role We're looking for an experienced Trailer Technician to join our Columbus, OH service center on 2nd shift. You'll perform trailer repairs, DOT inspections, and welding, working on a team that's committed to safety, quality, and valuing its employees. Hours: 3:30pm - 11:30pm Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision coverage Prescription (Rx) coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation Company-paid life insurance Short-term disability coverage Company-paid uniforms and uniform cleaning, plus company-logo apparel What You'll Do Perform trailer repairs, including wall and floor patches Perform DOT inspections Perform welding as needed Follow checklists to ensure all critical components are examined Inspect protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices, and adjust as needed Tag all warranty parts and returns for the warranty clerk Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer procedures, labor time guidelines, repair order documentation, and torque specifications Properly complete all service and repairs assigned by your supervisor Stay current on factory technical bulletins and attend training classes Build positive relationships with customers and show courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel Follow all safety requirements and published procedures, and keep your work area clean and organized Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Experience working on trailers Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Self-motivated and professional, able to work independently Team player with a strong commitment to customers and the service team Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting, standing, climbing, and stooping/kneeling Reaching with arms and hands Ability to lift up to 80 lbs Ability to work independently Ready to take the next step in your career with one of North America's largest semi-trailer dealerships?
