Assistant Live Haul Manager (Poultry)

The Assistant Live Haul Manager helps oversee poultry transport and farm-to-plant operations, ensuring compliance with animal welfare, safety, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Assist Live Haul Manager in day-to-day management of operations. Train employees, ensuring Animal Welfare Policies are enforced.

Assist in supervising live haul drivers, ensuring safe driving practices. Ensure team members and drivers adhere to company safety policies and practices. Monitor PM Program. Assist in training drivers, monitoring driver hours, and ensuring DOT compliance. Monitor and administer Drive-Cam System. Respond to farm catching and hauling issues and accidents.

Other relevant duties as assigned. High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree in Animal or Poultry Science or other related area of study preferred. Excellent technology, computer, math and analytical skills. 3+ years supervisory experience required. Current CDL, or ability to obtain license within 1 year required.
