Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Ortho. Virginia , the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons to join our practice in the Richmond, VA areas. About Ortho. Virginia : Ortho. Virginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia.
We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. We also have MRI, injection suites, after- hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy. This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity.
As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call .
Qualifications
Strong background in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions Board Certification/Eligibility MD or DO degree Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure Common Procedures: Treatment of congenital deformities (clubfoot, hip dysplasia) Pediatric fracture care Scoliosis surgery Limb lengthening and reconstruction Management of pediatric sports injuries Treatment of neuromuscular conditions (cerebral palsy) Pediatric joint preservation procedures Growth plate surgery Pediatric orthopedic trauma care Management of bone and soft tissue tumors in children Ortho.

Compensation
$275,000 - $325,000 Disclaimer: The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography, productivity, job responsibilities, or other factors permissible by law.
In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
