Position Type: Teacher/High School Location: North High School This is a one year only position. Position: 622 Credit Recovery Teacher

- Thursday, 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm Start Date: ASAP Pay and Benefits: $ 40.48/hour, Pay and benefits are in accordance with the teacher labor agreement - https://www.isd622.org/about/human-resources Location: North Date Available: October 2026 Purpose of Program: For students in grades 9 - 12 needing to recover credits to graduate with same-age peers. Required Qualifications: Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching License for grades 9-12 Licensed Teachers in the area of Math, Social Studies, English and Science Work with the district to Obtain Cross-Curricular License you will cover all core curriculum areas Meet the professional development requirements of the MN READ Act. This requires having already completed an MDE-approved professional development program (e.g., LETRS, CORE OL&LA, CAREIALL) or the ability to complete such training independently.
Responsibilities
Provide instruction in the core curriculum areas(s). Provide student supervision and classroom management for a variety of students and grade levels. Make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies. Implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed. Follow the prescribed course of study, except as authorized in the curriculum outlines or by the principals or other official rules and regulations.
Evaluate student performance according to system used by school and/or District; promote student achievement; maintain required student records; make related reports to the principal as prescribed or authorized by the superintendent. Maintain contact and communications with parents of students and work with them in the development of each student.
Perform classroom management duties; enforce District rules governing the conduct of students; take appropriate disciplinary action with students who do not follow District rules.
