As a Projects Estimator based in Chesterfield you’ll be responsible for: Liaising with suppliers, customers and branch teams to source materials at the best possible price and service level.

Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Preparing and issuing customer quotations, then proactively following up opportunities to maximise conversions. Placing customer orders with suppliers and maintaining accurate records within our CRM and internal systems.

Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues to deliver excellent service. Supporting the successful delivery of customer projects from enquiry through to delivery. This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 5.00pm. And here’s what we’d like you to have: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Confidence working with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Commercial awareness and an ability to solve problems. Experience within the utilities, infrastructure, construction or related industries would be advantageous, but is not essential.
