Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
Job description
South Shreveport Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $13.50-14 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a Flexible part-time schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (1:00–6:30 PM) plus alternating Saturdays (7:30 AM–12:00 PM).

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role

Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred

Proficiency in the following skills:.

Ability to manage multi-line phones while providing exceptional client service

Experience with veterinary practice management software (especially Cornerstone) preferred

Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Experience scheduling appointments, coordinating calendars, and processing payments

Compassionate, professional, and solution-oriented in both routine and emotional situations

Positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
