A Snapshot of Your Day. As a Software Developer within Siemens Energy Information Technology, you will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and external consultants to deliver enterprise-grade analytics and performance management solutions. Your day may involve designing and implementing JEDOX solutions, reviewing code, collaborating with global teams on data integration initiatives, and supporting business-critical applications.
You will leverage your expertise in ETL, data modeling, analytics, and reporting technologies to build scalable solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working in an Agile environment, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
What You Bring. Education. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMCA or equivalent qualification preferred. Experience10+ years of experience in software delivery, business applications, data integration, and analytics solutions. Proven experience leading and implementing enterprise business applications, ETL initiatives, and data migration projects.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks. Experience working in global and cross-functional environments. Technical Skills. Strong expertise in:ETL Concepts and Data Integration. Data Modeling and Database Design. Data Warehousing Principles.
Analytics and Reporting Solutions. Hands-on experience with:Tableau. Power BIData Visualization and Reporting Platforms. Experience with relational and multidimensional databases, including:JEDOXAnaplanTM1Infor. Essbase. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:Pivot Tables. Power Query. Complex Formulas. Advanced Data Analysis Techniques.

How You'll Make an Impact. Leverage core engineering principles and software development expertise to design and deliver JEDOX solutions. Work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment alongside Siemens Energy engineers, business users, and external consultants. Develop, test, review, and maintain application code aligned with business and functional requirements.
Conduct peer code reviews and identify opportunities to improve design, quality, and performance. Support business improvement initiatives utilizing Agile methodologies such as Scrum. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Drive ETL, data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives to support strategic business goals.
Ensure adherence to development standards, quality guidelines, and best practices. Provide application support and troubleshooting for business-critical production systems.
