Resident Director

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Students for Residential Education and Services, the Resident Director has shared responsibility for the selection, training, and evaluation, and sole responsibility for the supervision of up to 8 Resident Assistants (RA’s) in a residence hall community of up to 280 primarily returning residents.

Job duties also include providing after-hours duty coverage and responding to emergencies for the entire residential community of up to 1,024; mentoring and referring students (individually and in groups); oversight in judicial matters; committee work within Residential Education and Services and with other Concordia offices; and working cooperatively with other campus departments.
