015-211 Custodial/Light Maintenance $17 (SC, Columbia)

Purpose: Provide cleaning and light maintenance duties for the contract

Duties:

• Clean floors, restrooms, offices, cafeterias, auditoriums, classrooms, athletic facilities as assigned by supervisor

• Change light bulbs

• Change filters

• Unclog toilets

• Other maintenance related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Extensive Background Check as this position is in a school

• Drug Testing

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds during the entire shift

• Must be able to stand for the entire shift

• Must be able to climb stairs for the entire shift

• Must be able to work overhead

• Must not have a fear of heights

• Must be able to climb a ladder

• Must be capable of bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and squatting for the entire shift

• Must be capable of pushing a manual broom and mop

• Must be detailed oriented

• Must have reliable transportation arrangements

• Must be comfortable working in a school setting

• Must be able to assist with meeting set-ups

• Must be willing to wear all required PPE

• Must adhere to all safety protocols
