  • Patient Financial Services (LMC) Pay Rate Type Salary Pay Grade Health-28 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Description We are seeking a Supervisor of Business Operations – Rural Health Clinics to provide leadership and operational oversight for front-end Patient Access and registration functions across assigned Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) locations . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can balance people leadership, patient experience, operational efficiency, compliance, and financial performance while supporting multiple clinical locations. What You’ll Do As the Supervisor of Business Operations, you will provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to Patient Access team members, ensuring registration services are accurate, efficient, consistent, and patient focused.

Key responsibilities include

Provide direct supervision, coaching, education, and ongoing support to Patient Access and front-end registration team members. Oversee daily patient registration, check-in/check-out, demographic verification, and insurance verification processes. Promote a welcoming, professional, and efficient patient experience from the moment patients enter our clinics.

Monitor and support the collection of patient financial responsibility and other front-end revenue cycle activities. Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage across assigned RHC and HOPD locations. Monitor employee performance, productivity, quality, and adherence to established workflows and expectations.

Provide ongoing staff education, training, and competency development. Support compliance with applicable regulatory, provider-based, registration, and organizational requirements . Standardize workflows and processes across multiple clinical locations to improve consistency and reduce variation. Identify operational challenges, workflow gaps, and opportunities for improvement and work collaboratively to implement effective solutions.

Serve as an operational and financial resource for front-end registration activities. Partner closely with clinic leadership, clinical teams, Patient Access leadership, referral sources, payers, and other key stakeholders . Use performance information and operational trends to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, collections, and the overall patient experience.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
