Introduction Socially Powerful is a global social media marketing agency offering bespoke, end-to-end services to our clients. Our rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers work together to create impactful content for our list of global brands, covering FMCG, fashion, beauty, and tech.

We are looking to expand our Accounts team within the US, and our agency is seeking an enthusiastic individual to be at the forefront of building our US team, delivering exceptional campaigns with our current and forthcoming clients.

About the role

Account Management sits at the heart of the agency, and as a Senior Account Manager, you will work closely with every department, as well as a variety of client-side stakeholders, to independently and proactively lead and support a range of exciting client accounts. You will become a trusted point of contact for clients, helping to deliver impactful social and influencer campaigns across a diverse portfolio of brands.

We are seeking a driven individual who is passionate about influencer and social media marketing and is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of influencer and social campaigns, from strategy and planning through to execution and reporting. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver exceptional work across a variety of industries, including beauty, fashion, FMCG and technology.

Alongside this, you’ll support and mentor junior team members, helping them to develop into well-rounded marketeers while continuing to grow your own client leadership and strategic skills. Respond to client briefs and coordinate teams to develop creative informed by competitor, industry, platform and audience insights.

Write compelling proposals and support pitches, bringing strategic thinking, creative ideas and recommendations to life. Build strong client relationships and translate business and brand objectives into clear briefs for strategy, creative, influencer selection and content. Contribute to strategic and creative discussions, challenging briefs and developing effective social solutions.

Manage multiple influencer campaigns across sizeable Accounts, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to a high standard. Own the full project lifecycle, including timelines, budgets, documentation, reporting and KPI delivery. Oversee campaign teams and content production, proactively identifying issues and providing solutions.

Act as a trusted client contact, managing expectations around scope, timelines, budgets and delivery while providing insights and recommendations. Manage account commercials and budgets, supporting scopes of work and budget proposals to ensure efficient, profitable delivery. Support Account growth by identifying upsell, repeat business and additional activity opportunities.

Present confidently to key stakeholders across pitches, kick-offs, campaign updates and post-campaign analysis. Support new business through pitch preparation, workshops, toolkits and strategic materials. Mentor junior team members, providing feedback and supporting their development and progression. Review work and champion high standards across account and campaign deliverables.

Share campaign results and learnings with the wider agency and contribute to a collaborative team environment. 3-5 years of experience working for a brand or in a client servicing role at an agency, dealing with high-profile clients. Experience working within the beauty industry is desirable. Genuine passion for influencer and social media marketing Experience upselling ideas to clients, and ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all levels, to ultimately grow accounts.

Exceptional organisation and ability to independently manage multiple campaigns to an extremely high standard, in a fast-paced environment, while always maintaining an eye for detail. Ability to stay calm under pressure and deal with problems in a logical and efficient way. Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor communication and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Experience in all agency meetings and collaborating with different types of agencies. Demonstrable experience delegating and prioritising an ever-changing workload. Demonstrable experience as a project lead on sizable client accounts, coordinating members of the Accounts, Planning and Strategy teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Previous line management experience, with a track record of coaching, developing and supporting junior team members to grow their skills and confidence. 14 days paid vacation, plus an additional day for your birthday Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Hybrid way of working (3 days in the office)
