Mission Support Supervisor - Angola

The purpose of this role is to provide multi-function service in support with the Church’s mission to help all of God's children come to Jesus Christ through learning about His gospel, making and keeping promises with God, and practicing Christlike love and service. This position will be based in Angola Luanda North Mission.

Requires understanding of custodial procedures, supplies, and equipment. Ability to operate assigned equipment such as: buffers, carpet cleaners, vacuums, etc. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., push carts of loaded material, bend, crawl, and/or reach. Understand English for general communication, video training, building security, and safety.

Must be capable of understanding instructions both verbally and in writing, and able to listen and ask clarifying questions as needed. Must complete safety and equipment usage training. General housekeeping and support to mission leaders. Maintain a clean, neat, and hygienic home environment. Making beds, doing laundry and making arrangements for missionaries and mission leaders.

Housekeeping duties, including cleaning mission homes following missionary transfers, meetings, or as directed. Duties may include cleaning kitchens, floors, restrooms, changing linen, dusting, and waste removal. May assist with meal preparation and serving under the direction of the Mission President's wife for visitors, missionaries, and special meetings.

May assist with childcare and laundry duties as requested by the Mission President and/or the Mission President's wife. Perform other duties as assigned by the Mission President and/or the Mission President's wife to support the effective operation of the mission. Must hold a current / valid temple recommend and/or be worthy to hold one.

A recognized Bachelors degree or National Diploma and directly related experience, and applicable industry-recognized certifications. At least five years of any combination of equivalent years of related experience, higher-education, or an industry-recognized certification. Former leadership experience in a work setting.
