Vehicle Aide – Transportation

POSITION: VEHICLE AIDE � TRANSPORTATION RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist special needs students on school vehicles. Vehicles transporting students may include handicap/ wheelchair vehicles, 16-passenger, and 24-passenger buses. The vehicle aide ensures students are loaded onto the vehicle safely, are secured in their seats, and closely monitored.

The aide also ensures that students have left the vehicle safely at the completion of the route.

QUALIFICATIONS

School bus aide experience a plus. High School diploma, required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
