Job Skills / Requirements Field Team Security Officer-1st Shift Mon-Fri (6AM-6PM) $17.00/Hr. Role: Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Field Team Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement.

Responsibilities include

patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards Must be at least 21 years old Duties & Responsibilities Learn all job sites and their requirements. Enforce company policies and procedures. Inspect all job sites daily.

Assist operations with monitoring vehicle idling. Assist operations with scheduling. Fill-in for officers as needed due to call-off, paid time off, etc. Patrol & Surveillance

• Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity Incident Response & Reporting
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors) Customer Service & Policy Enforcement
• Assist visitors and employees professionally• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking) Required Skills & Abilities Minimum
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments• Weekend availability• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills• Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations• Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting Preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)
• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping Education & Experience Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience Preferred 3+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience Note: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
