Med. Star Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant for our Hematology/Oncology department. This position is full-time (1.0FTE) and is solely in the inpatient setting. Schedule for this position is Monday

  • Friday, with option for call/weekend coverage. This role is ideal for an Advanced Practice Provider who values patient-centered care, thrives in a team environment, and is capable of navigating complex and sensitive conversations with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inpatient consults for new cancer or blood disorder cases Evaluate and manage new patients admitted to the hospital Follow up with established inpatients to ensure continuity of care Qualifications: Completion and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner program CPR certification required 1-2 years inpatient experience - preferred Eligible for Maryland and DC licenses As a Med.
