Clothes® Department. Summary: Falcons Fury Harley-Davidson is looking for a motivated Apprentice Powersports Technician to join our fast-paced, high-volume service team. Responsibilities
The apprentice technician is assigned a 'Mentor,' usually a Master Technician, to assist him/her in acclimating to dealership operations in addition to sharing the Mentor's technical knowledge and one-on-one training. They will be assisting the apprentice as necessary. Perform work as outlined on the repair order. Learn to perform maintenance, install accessories, and diagnose/perform repairs.
Examine the vehicle performing a multi-point inspection (MPI) and video highlighting the results of the inspection. Recommending additional service work if found during the MPI. Call upon your Mentor or Service Manager when you have a question or need assistance. Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure smooth communication and accurate work orders.
Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and professionalism to the Sonic Pride and Risk Management standards. Obtain OEM training and certifications — we invest in keeping you sharp Deliver every unit in better shape than it arrived Help maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring jobs are done right the first time Strong mechanical aptitude Must own or acquire a complete set of tools within 60 days of hire Valid motorcycle license required for test rides, good driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug test, MVR) Must be authorized to work in the USA Preferred Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Motorcycle, Marine, or Automotive program.
