Delairco Japan KK 2026 June Department: International Project Division Position: Electrical Design Engineer Job Title: Electrical Design & Test Engineer Location: Tokyo, Japan | Full-time Company Overview: Delairco provides technical solutions for projects in Japan and internationally. 1. Weather and Hydrological Monitoring Systems (AWS, hydrology stations)
2. Wind Resource Assessment solutions
3. Custom Power Backup Systems (generator and renewable power integration) We’re looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Design & Test Engineer to join our small, multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the design, integration, and testing of electronic systems used in environmental monitoring and custom power solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 Design analog and digital circuit boards: schematic capture, component selection, and layout review  Simulate and optimize circuits for low noise, high stability, and low power  Integrate COTS modules into complete system designs (sensor, comms, control, power)  Perform circuit debugging using lab tools (oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc.)

 Create and execute test plans for PCB and system-level validation  Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and mechanical integration  Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams  Document designs, test results, and compliance data thoroughly  Support regulatory compliance: FCC, CE, ISO, IEC standards Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field  5+ years of experience in design and testing  Proficiency in analog/mixed-signal design, including ADCs, DACs, and signal conditioning  Strong knowledge of serial communications (RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI, CAN, UART)  Skilled with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum analyzers, etc.)
