Technical Services Engineer

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promote products, services and systems.
2. Develop customer relationships and service (on-site and in office) to ensure customer base is maintained.
3. Provide technical information and on-site technical support for distributor and end users.
4. Actively seek and develop new opportunities based on site conditions and customers’ challenges with prompt follow-up on potential opportunities.
5. Meet specific targets on specific initiatives as agreed with management.
6. Utilization of available equipment, literature, and related sales aids in relation to seminars, oral & written presentation, meetings etc. to maximize business exposure.
7. Uphold the values of the Sika brand and support brand awareness initiatives.
8. Undertake day-to-day activities in a cost-effective manner.
9. Resolve customer complaints to ensure relationships are maintained as appropriate and risk/loss to the company is minimized.
10. Maintain product knowledge and keep abreast of key developments – apply learning’s to enhance account management strategies.
11. Stay informed of latest industry development, potential markets, and new products.
12. Keep abreast of competitor products and activities and any other construction related changes by reviewing comparative data reports and knowledge of industry changes.
13. Ensures professional account and territory management practices are maintained. a. Monthly reports b. Calibration schedules c. Customer details d. Project lists e. Customer Business Plans (for key accounts) Education: Graduate of B.S. Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering. Work Experience: With at least three (3) to five (5) years of working experience in construction or related industries. Experience working in a multinational company is an advantage.
