Cashier

Cashier / Team Member Pay Range: $20.00 Position Summary The Cashier / Team Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while supporting overall restaurant operations. This position goes beyond operating a register and includes order accuracy, drive-thru service, food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork to ensure smooth and efficient service.

We are looking for individuals who are friendly, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Reporting Structure Reports to the Assistant Manager and General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greets every guest in a friendly and courteous manner Takes accurate orders and uses suggestive selling when appropriate Enters orders into the POS system and communicates clearly with kitchen team members Accurately handles cash, credit card, and digital payments Counts register before and after shift and reports discrepancies Maintains proper cash handling procedures at all times Supports drive-thru operations, including headset communication and window service Works efficiently to help meet or exceed company service time standards Ensures order accuracy and assists in resolving guest concerns promptly Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of front counter, beverage station, dining area, and work areas Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assists expediter, service assistant, and other team members as needed Participates in training when assigned Performs additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Strong communication and guest service skills Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy under pressure Must obtain a California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (training and certification provided and paid for by the Company in accordance with state law) Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking Reaching, bending, lifting, and cleaning Ability to work in environments with heat, steam, cold, and kitchen odors Ability to work during peak business hours Additional Information Employment is at-will and may be terminated by either the employee or the Company at any time, with or without cause or notice.
