In this key leadership position, you will guide our site development engineering team with a focus on project delivery, team management, and technical excellence.

You will manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers, oversee project execution and workload, and serve as a hands-on technical leader ensuring the delivery of high-quality site civil projects for our clients.%3C/p%3E%3Cdiv%3EIn the role of Site Civil Section Manager, we%27ll count on you to:%26nbsp;%3C/div%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3ETake responsibility for the daily operations of the Site Civil section, including staff development, project profitability, team morale, and quality control.

%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EFunction as a Project Manager, taking direct responsibility for production and successful delivery on key site civil projects.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETake administrative responsibility for section staff and lead and coordinate technical services with other groups.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupport local marketing efforts, including strategic planning, proposal development, and interviews.

%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESelect, train, develop, and manage technical personnel within the section.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork cooperatively with Area and Regional leadership to support local and national marketing and production efforts.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EImplement, monitor, and support company policy and procedures.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform other duties as needed to support the team and our clients%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp class=%22Mso.

g., technical correspondence and code interpretations) against core engineering fundamentals and regulations.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPrior leadership and management experience.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProject experience with land entitlement and development processes locally and in other surrounding areas.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with site development design and construction plan development.

%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProficiency with the following software: Civil3D, %26nbsp;and Bluebeam Revu.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong skills with Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel), AI-enhanced research and design process support%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience A minimum of 10 years experience Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role Strong communication and listening skills Ability to handle multiple assignments Good leadership and organizational skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
