Some MRI positions keep you in the same environment every day. This one doesn't. You'll rotate between Vancouver Heights Imaging and Peace. Health Southwest Medical Center , giving you the opportunity to experience both the patient-centered pace of outpatient imaging and the broader clinical exposure of a Level II Trauma Center.
Working across Siemens Avanto Fit and Siemens SOLA 1.5T scanners at the hospital, as well as a GE 1.5T system at VHI , you'll enjoy the kind of variety that keeps your skills sharp and your days interesting. The schedule helps make it even more memorable. Wednesday through Sunday, 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Your Monday and Tuesday are yours.
Long weekends become easier. Appointments become easier. Life becomes easier. If you've been looking for a role that combines stability, variety, and a culture that values its caregivers as deeply as its patients, this deserves a closer look. While we welcome applications from all candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, we are particularly interested in connecting with MRI Technologists who have recent, hands-on MRI experience and can contribute immediately in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Why This Role Stands Out Many MRI technologists eventually reach a point where they don't want to choose between outpatient lifestyle and hospital-level clinical complexity. This role lets you have both. You'll spend much of your time in the outpatient setting at Vancouver Heights Imaging while maintaining exposure to the diverse and clinically challenging cases that come through Peace.
Health Southwest Medical Center. It is an uncommon combination that helps keep skills sharp while providing a schedule that supports life beyond work. Just as importantly, you'll be joining a person-first, values-driven organization known throughout the region for compassionate care. At Peace. Health, caring for caregivers is not simply a slogan.
It's reflected through comprehensive benefits, wellness resources, educational support, and a culture built around respect, collaboration, and service. Why You'll Love This Role Monday and Tuesday off every week, creating a consistent work-life rhythm A blend of outpatient and hospital-based MRI rather than being limited to a single environment Opportunity to maintain advanced clinical skills within a busy Level II Trauma Center Additional earning potential through evening shift and weekend shift differentials Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available Comprehensive benefits designed to support your physical, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual wellbeing Who Thrives Here Naturally curious technologists who enjoy seeing a wide range of patient populations Professionals who value both independence and teamwork MRI technologists who prioritize patient experience as much as image quality People who appreciate consistency in their schedule without wanting repetitive work Individuals who want to build a long-term career with a highly trusted healthcare organization Why You'll Love Living Here Vancouver offers something that can be surprisingly difficult to find: access to everything without feeling overwhelmed by it.
You can enjoy the restaurants, entertainment, and professional sports of nearby Portland, then head home to neighborhoods, trails, parks, and outdoor recreation that feel much more relaxed. Whether your ideal day off involves hiking, paddleboarding, coffee shops, mountain views, or simply avoiding a lengthy commute, Southwest Washington makes it easy to enjoy more of your time away from work.
