City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Belle. Harbour Emergency Department is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department as a Unit Coordinator! Full Time- night shift (7p to 7A) If you're looking for your next step and would like to get into leadership - this is a great way to start building those skills!
Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend Required Call : Full Time nurses have 24 hours of required call per 6 weeks. Part Time does 12 hours. Experienced Nurse Orientation: Experienced Registered Nurses can expect an orientation period of 10 weeks on the unit. Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates!
The Sentara Belle. Harbour Emergency Department , located in North Suffolk, Virginia, operates 24/7 and serves as a licensed extension of Sentara Obici Hospital. This state-of-the-art, free-standing facility features 22 treatment spaces. Including fast track rooms, 10 focused care, and 12 high acuity care. Nurses here are specially trained to care for both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for all ages.
As part of the Sentara network, the Belle. Harbour ED offers strong clinical leadership, advanced technology, and a collaborative, team-focused environment designed to support both patients and staff. Storke ready center. The RN Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department.
Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
Education
Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (Required) Masters of Science in Nursing
- MSN (Preferred) Certification/Licensure Registered nursing License (Required) BLS required within 90 days of hire Professional Specialty Nursing Certification (Preferred). Experience 18 months nursing experience (Required) We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
