Trauma Surgeon

A Brief Overview: You will join a team of 29 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in critical care, colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliary subspecialties. .

Responsibilities include

Coverage of in-house Level 1 Trauma and Emergency General Surgery at Evanston Hospital; Coverage of Level 2 Trauma Call and Emergency General Surgery at Skokie, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals; Four to six hours per month of general surgery post op clinic; Coverage of critical care in the Surgical ICU at Evanston and Skokie Hospitals Oversees Residency and Fellowship Programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

Teaching opportunities, academic appointment Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.

What you will need
