Mental Health Technician - Residential

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct care, direction, and supervision to emotionally and/or behaviorally challenged children and adolescents. The MHT assists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and focuses on an environment of safety and relationship building. Qualifications:# High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Associate#s or Bachelor#s Degree preferred.# Valid Driver#s License required.# Must be at least 21 years of age.# Job Duties:# Supervise daily routines and responsibilities of our clients and ensure performance of daily self-care tasks, assisting when necessary.# Ensure a safe and secure environment, acting immediately to remove all dangers or threats to the welfare of our clients.

Provide minor First Aid as necessary.# Provide milieu management through the use of structured programming.# Facilitate or co-facilitate daily programming activities, transitional meetings, and therapeutic groups.# Participate in the planning and implementation of individualized treatment plans and schedules.# Provide transportation, when necessary, to and from school, activities, off-campus appointments and visits, etc.
