In this role, you’ll oversee daily security operations, supervise staff performance, and ensure a safe, customer-friendly environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage both people and security operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers to ensure strong performance Enforce post orders, safety procedures, and company policies Conduct patrols and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies Maintain daily activity reports, logs, and incident documentation Coordinate with local police, fire departments, and mall management Ensure proper operation of systems (CCTV, fire panels, radios, access control) Train and onboard new team members Assist with scheduling, payroll submission, and shift coverage Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards Deliver excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff Qualifications Previous security supervisor or leadership experience required Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures Ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable Comfortable handling emergency situations and decision-making under pressure Strong communication and report-writing skills Experience with CCTV, alarm systems, and life safety systems preferred Must meet all state/local security licensing requirements This description portrays in general terms the type and level(s) of work performed and is not intended to be all-inclusive, nor the specific duties of any one incumbent.
