Lab Support Specialist

Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a “Laboratory Support Specialist” based in Wilmington, MA. Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility of Extension) Pay Rate: $28.60/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K Key Responsibilities Manage laboratory waste and coordinate waste pickups.

Maintain chemical and consumables inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies. Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, preventive maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting. Coordinate shipping, receiving, customer visits, and lab coat management. Organize monthly lab meetings and support laboratory operations.

Learn NGS library preparation workflows to assist with manual testing. Coordinate vendor visits, service contracts, and equipment/Cap. Ex purchases with Procurement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is a must.

Preferred Qualifications
