This is a PRN, as-needed position for someone with flexible availability who is willing to pick up shifts when coverage is needed, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities Include

(but are not limited to): Provide one-on-one assistance, companionship, and meaningful interaction with residents. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility, according to individual resident service plans. Encourage resident independence while providing appropriate support and assistance.

Assist residents with attending meals and activities and encourage participation in community programs. Observe and promptly report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or needs to the Resident Services Director. Assist residents with self-administration of medications in accordance with facility policies and complete required documentation accurately.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established facility procedures. Complete assigned housekeeping duties, including making beds, emptying trash, cleaning resident and common areas, laundry, and mopping bathroom floors. Maintain accurate shift documentation and communicate important information to the incoming team.

Work collaboratively and professionally with residents, families, and coworkers. Follow through on assigned responsibilities and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Willingness to Learn: You are receptive to training, coaching, and feedback and committed to doing the job correctly. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.
