- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, TURP, prostate biopsy, and kidney stone removal via lithotripsy.
- Execute complex surgical interventions including nephrectomy, cystectomy, bladder suspension surgery, urethral stricture repair, and urinary bladder repair.
- Perform reconstructive and corrective surgeries such as bladder augmentation, urinary diversion surgery, and penile prosthesis implantation.
- Lead and manage surgical teams during procedures involving artificial urinary sphincter insertion, orchiectomy, vasectomy, and vasectomy reversal.
- Participate in renal transplantation procedures, including pre- and post-operative care coordination.
- Provide expert consultation on complex urological conditions, including oncological and congenital disorders.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and critical care specialists.
- Engage in continuous professional development, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives. --- ### Requirements
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MD/MS in Urology) from a recognized medical institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical and surgical experience in a hospital or specialized urology center.
- Proven expertise in performing advanced urological surgeries including:
- Prostatectomy (open, laparoscopic, robotic-assisted)
- Pyeloplasty and ureteroscopy
- Cystectomy and urinary diversion surgery
- Renal transplantation and graft management
- Bladder augmentation and bladder suspension surgery
- Artificial urinary sphincter insertion and penile prosthesis implantation
- Vasectomy and vasectomy reversal
- Nephrectomy and orchiectomy
- Urethral stricture repair and urinary bladder repair
- Demonstrated proficiency in endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques, including TURP and lithotripsy.
- Strong understanding of urological oncology, male infertility, and reconstructive urology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a current license to practice.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical coverage. ---
