IT OT Cybersecurity Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled IT OT Cybersecurity Engineer tto join our client’s Automation IT/OT team onsite in Cork. This role will be responsible for IT/OT system integration, deployment, troubleshooting, and support across a range of networking and operational technologies. The successful candidate will apply strong technical expertise to maintain and optimize infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for IT and OT systems, including network, hardware, and application layers. Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems, network switches, firewalls, and security devices. Manage and maintain Windows operating environments and Active Directory domains. Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization environments (Hyper-V).

Provide system and network-level security administration, including patching and incident response. Document system configurations, requirements, and validation deliverables (URS, DS, DDS). Support infrastructure for high availability and disaster recovery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex OT/IT issues.

Maintain compliance with client’s system standards and operational policies.

Requirements

Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in IT and/or OT infrastructure design, deployment, and support. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in some or all of the following: Enterprise Networks (LAN/WiFi), Cisco hardware configuration and support.

Windows OS deployment and troubleshooting (server and workstation). Active Directory and domain management. Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V). Cybersecurity in OT/IT environments. Hardware installation and problem resolution for Dell or similar servers. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, and applications.

Excellent documentation abilities and attention to detail.
