Corporate Finance Associate - Group FP&A
Job description
We are looking for a Corporate Finance professional to support financial analysis, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making in a high-performing Finance team. You will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to review Group financial conditions, evaluate strategic alternatives, assess business performance, and translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations for management.
- Financial analysis: Prepare in-depth financial analysis and build financial models to provide incremental visibility and perspectives into the Group's P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, capital structure, capital efficiency, and investments in strategic initiatives.
- Corporate finance: Support research and planning for the Group’s financing strategy. Monitor and analyze financing transactions across global markets. Identify relevant insights and develop recommendations aligned with the Group’s financial conditions.
- Market monitoring: Track industry trends, peer performance, valuation levels, and capital markets developments to support internal information sharing; interface and communicate with investment banks, investors, and other external business partners.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Group FP&A, Finance BPs, Treasury, Accounting & Reporting, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development teams across various analyses and internal projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field;
- 4+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, equity research, or investment management at major financial institutions or large enterprises;
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in global capital markets, corporate finance, and deal activities;
- Fluency in both written and oral Mandarin Chinese and English is required, as this role regularly collaborates with cross-functional teams based in mainland China and communicates with both Chinese and global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is preferred;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to thrive in a high-performing and global environment;
- Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and accounting; Familiarity with financial information platforms (CapitalIQ / Bloomberg / FactSet) or using AI / coding to optimize workflows is a plus;
- Deal execution experience is a plus;
- Person of integrity, diligence, and curiosity.
