• Saint Albans, VT, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $17.50 - $19.00Hourly, Are you a compassionate, energetic, and self-motivated individual looking to make a meaningful impact? Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) a residential program supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. We’re seeking a dedicated team member to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Weekend availability is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Fostering a therapeutic, supportive, and stable environment in both residential and community settings Providing person-centered, strength-based interventions tailored to individual needs Supporting daily living skills, including preparing and cooking meals Administering medications as directed Transporting clients to appointments and community activities What We’re Looking For: Experience in residential programs or working with individuals with mental health challenges Strong communication and organizational skills A warm, compassionate personality and a team-oriented mindset A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to transport clients We believe in the power of human connection and the importance of supporting one another.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree; or equivalent combination of related education, training and experience such as relevant certificate from college or technical school.
