Nacelle & Hub Quality Engineer

Job Summary
QC/QA engineer ensures all nacelle and hub process are up to standards and as per the specifications and regulatory requirements. Assurance of inspection protocols and checklists, quality documentation and coordination with production and engineering teams to resolve any Non-Conformity Reports and continued improvement of the process related.
Key Responsibilities
Development and implementation of QC/QA procedures for the nacelle and hub assembly plant Support design and industrialization of the nacelle and hub assembly plant relevant to quality equipment Checking critical points during assembly of nacelle and hub assemblies Visual inspection and inspection of the final product together with the quality team Conducting random checks of materials for compliance with quality standards Development and completion of accompanying QC/QA documentation for finished products Discussion with the production and engineering team of the root causes of NCR situations Creation of checklist in accordance with specifications and requirements Performing of in-process inspections of assembly line components to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements Reviewal and approval of raw material certification, inspection reports and NCRs Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions Coordinate with suppliers on incoming inspection standards required for components and materials Ensure quality documentation is accurate and complete Support and coordinate internal and external audits for any certification and regulatory board (i.
e. ISO, UL, DNV) Provide training of production team on QC/QA standards Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, process engineer, Industrial or quality engineering Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality control/assurance, production foreman, quality inspector Certification in quality management Strong communication, training and cross functional leadership skills Fluency in English
