Instruction-in-the-Home Teacher (Student Services)

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is seeking an Instruction-in-the-Home Teacher to work within the Office of Student Services . These are part-time temporary needs for the 2026-2027 school year (hours, ages, and locations vary). Hours vary and range from 1-20 hours per week depending on needs.

Qualifications

Valid PA certification in Special Education PK-12 required . Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred . Experience with Assistive Technology. Experience providing a high level of customer service. Current PA Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI Fingerprinting clearances (dated within one year from date of hire). Duties & Responsibilities: Provide instruction to individuals with various disabilities in a home setting.

Location: The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and provide services to students in School Age K-12 and Non-Pub classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA. This position travels to homes located throughout Montgomery County.
