Job description

Who we are Let’s be honest, a lot of occupational rehabilitation providers can start to sound the same. At Prudence Rehab , we’ve deliberately built something different. We’re a growing, values-led team where great outcomes and great careers go hand in hand. We trust our people, give them genuine autonomy, and create an environment where experienced consultants can do their best work without getting lost in rigid KPIs or corporate red tape.

We care about quality over ticking boxes. We care about meaningful outcomes for clients. And we care about creating careers that are challenging and rewarding, without work taking over your life. Already working in occupational rehab and wondering what else is out there? This could be your sign. Why join Prudence Rehab?

Because you’ve already built your occupational rehab experience. Now it’s about finding the right place to use it, grow it and enjoy it. Here’s what you can look forward to: 9-Day Fortnight & Summer Fridays – because life outside work matters too. Hybrid Working & Genuine Flexibility – autonomy to manage your schedule and work in a way that works for you.

Quality-Driven Bonus Program – recognising great work and great outcomes. Professional Development – access to industry-leading internal and external learning opportunities. Wellness Allowance – supporting your health and wellbeing. Extra Leave – including birthday leave, volunteer leave, purchased leave and loyalty leave.

A Team That Has Your Back – approachable leaders, experienced mentors and a multidisciplinary team who genuinely support each other. The role We’re looking for an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant who is already working in occupational rehabilitation and ready for their next move. You know the industry. You understand the stakeholders, the challenges and the importance of balancing great client outcomes with commercial realities.

What we want to offer you is the opportunity to do that work in an environment with more autonomy, support and room to grow. You’ll work with workers, employers, insurers and treating professionals to help people recover, regain confidence and successfully return to work. There’s plenty of variety, genuine ownership of your work, and opportunities to contribute beyond your caseload.

What you’ll be doing You’ll be able to hit the ground running across: Managing a diverse occupational rehabilitation caseload Conducting workplace, functional and vocational assessments Developing and driving return-to-work strategies Building strong relationships with workers, employers, insurers and treating professionals Delivering face-to-face and virtual services Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary collaboration Supporting wellness and injury prevention initiatives Contributing your experience and ideas to projects across injury management and workplace health About you This one is important: we’re specifically looking for someone with occupational rehabilitation industry experience.

You might be happy where you are but curious about what else is out there. You might be looking for more flexibility, a better culture or your next career challenge. Or maybe you simply want to work somewhere that gives you the trust and autonomy you’ve earned. Whatever is prompting the move, you’ll bring: Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation Current registration with AHPRA, ESSA or ASORC , as relevant to your discipline Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Confidence managing an occupational rehabilitation caseload A practical, solutions-focused approach A genuine commitment to quality client and return-to-work outcomes A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider team Most importantly, you’re someone who cares about doing good work, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a team where your experience is valued.

Ready for something different? If you already know occupational rehab and are thinking “I like what I do, I’m just ready to do it somewhere different” , we’d really like to meet you. You don’t need to have your five-year career plan mapped out. If Prudence Rehab sounds like the kind of team you’d enjoy being part of, let’s have a conversation.

Apply today or reach out to Sarah at careers@prudencerehab.com.au for a confidential chat. One last thing... We love getting to know the person behind the CV. When you apply, tell us: What’s your favourite album of all time, and what community cause would you nominate for one of our Community Support Days? Because experience will get our attention, but who you are matters just as much.
