Hostler - Las Vegas

On. Trac is hiring a Warehouse Hostler / Yard Driver ! On. Trac Hostlers are responsible for safely positioning and maneuvering trailers to and from the dock. This position works closely with the yard team and Operations Management. Location: 551 Courier St. Henderson, NV 89011 Pay: $23.50 per hour Shift: Wednesday

• Saturday from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business . Time Off & Premium Pay Eligible for Paid Sick Leave, in compliance with applicable state and local regulations Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Workplace Support Safe and clean work environment Employee Assistance Program The Must-Haves: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background checks Must be at least 18 years old, possess a clean driving record, valid identification and be able to pass a TSA screening Must be able to provide a 5-year to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) The Responsibilities: Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment as outlined in the Company Safety Program Properly pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards Correctly position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor Switching trailers as needed during the daily sort; hook up sets of trailers for line hauls leaving the facility Clearly communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management Founded in 1986, On.
