Pennyrile Ford in Hopkinsville is looking for a dependable, motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Lube Technician to join our service team.

This is more than an oil-change job. We're looking for someone who wants an opportunity to learn, develop their skills, and potentially advance into a higher-level automotive technician position.

What You'll Do

Perform oil and filter changes

Rotate and balance tires

Perform basic vehicle maintenance

Complete multi-point vehicle inspections

Check and top off fluids

Inspect tires, brakes, batteries and other maintenance items

Assist with basic repairs as experience and ability increase

Keep your work area clean and organized

Properly document completed work

Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of dealership experience.

We're looking for someone who:

Shows up on time and is dependable

Has a good attitude and strong work ethic

Has basic mechanical knowledge or an interest in learning

Takes pride in doing the job correctly

Can work efficiently in a fast-paced shop

Is willing to learn and take direction

Works well with other technicians and service personnel

Wants an opportunity to advance

Previous automotive, tire, oil-change, maintenance, trade-school, or mechanical experience is a plus, but we will consider the right entry-level candidate.

A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Employment is subject to applicable background screening and drug testing.
