Registered Nurse

Part-Time, 30 hours per week. The schedule includes two 12-hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each week, one evening shift from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. An additional 12 hours of paid on-call duty. Availability to work evenings and weekends. Final schedule to be discussed. Academic year schedule, approximately 35 weeks per year plus opportunity to work through summer programs (+4 weeks).

The Registered Nurse identifies and treats student health disorders and provides education and guidance in good health and disease prevention. The duty of care includes evaluating, monitoring, and recording the physical conditions of students. Decisions made require discretionary judgment and analysis. The work requires independent decision-making, a professional and friendly attitude, and effective communication.
