Sr. Land and Division Order Analyst JOB DESCRIPTION JOB INFORMATION Position Title: Sr. Land and Division Order Analyst Reports to: Land Administration Manager Department: Land Non-Exempt/Exempt: Exempt JOB SUMMARY Sr. Land and Division Order Analyst is responsible for certain lease and division order analyst responsibilities, land analysis, and other technical land activities.

This role manages complex land and division order activities for operated and non-operated assets. This role interprets title and ownership documentation, maintains Revenue and JIB ownership, processes division orders and ownership changes, and collaborates across teams to ensure ownership accuracy, SOX compliance, and audit readiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze title opinions, conveyances, assignments, leases, and other land documents to determine and maintain accurate ownership. Experience with complex title issues, litigation involving overriding royalties and burden groups. Maintain WI/NRI, Revenue, and JIB ownership records for operated and non-operated properties, including Revenue/JIB decks in BOLO.

Set up and maintain decks, including comprehensive deducts. Prepare, update, and maintain Revenue and JIB ownership decks and related ownership records in BOLO. Establish estimated NRI/JIB ownership for new wells and cost centers and update records as final title becomes available. Process ownership transfers, conveyances, name changes, mergers, acquisitions, and other ownership changes.

Review suspense ownership and resolve title, ownership, revenue payment, and billing discrepancies to support accurate and timely revenue distribution. Coordinate with Landmen and attorneys to resolve title defects and curative requirements; communicate with revenue owners regarding ownership, payments, transfers, and title issues.

Maintain Well Master and accurate well-to-lease/tract relationships, lease records, contracts, ROWs, surface agreements, and supporting documentation in BOLO and the Land Drive. Review lease obligations, rentals, extensions, bonus payments, and other applicable land administration requirements. Support monthly revenue distribution deadlines and communicate ownership changes and issues to Accounting.

Collaborate with Land, Accounting, Legal, Regulatory, and Production to maintain ownership integrity and support SOX compliance and internal controls. Perform data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and quality-control reviews to identify and correct ownership or system discrepancies. Assist with audit requests and acquisition/divestiture integration, including ownership analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and supporting documentation.

Serve as a senior technical resource on land, title, division order, Revenue, and JIB ownership matters and perform other duties as assigned. Communicate with revenue owners regarding ownership, payments, division orders, title requirements, transfers, and related inquiries. Other duties as assigned. HIRING REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Experience 10+ years, all facets of U.

S. land work Professional experience working in Division Orders and Lease Analyst capacity. Strong understanding of Land and Accounting databases. Federal land experience a plus but not required. Experience with GIS and mapping systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment.

Ability to work with and communicate with personnel across various disciplines and levels of the organization. Familiarity with BOLO software a plus but not required. Self-sufficient, proactive professional with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills and attention to data accuracy and deadlines.

Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting application. Practical use of AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for analysis, research, workflow efficiency, or business productivity preferred.
