Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in OH At least 6 months of experience as an LPN in a nursing home or long-term care (LTC) setting is required. Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document residents' health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Provide nursing care for residents, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with daily living activities.

Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Educate residents and their families about health management and procedures. Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines. Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
