Fabricator Welder

Job Title: Fabricator Welder Work Type: Contract to Hire Pay Range $28-$33 per hour Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Cut, shape, and join metal components using various welding techniques Operate welding equipment like MIG, TIG, and stick welders Inspect and verify weld quality and structural integrity Prepare and set up welding workstations Measure and mark metal pieces for fabrication Grind and smooth welded joints Maintain and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment Required Skills: Prior experience bending, tubing, coping, upper structures and handrails.

Welding certifications (AWS preferred) Proficiency in multiple welding processes Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques Ability to read technical drawings Strong attention to detail Physical stamina and manual dexterity Basic mathematics and measurement skills Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Vocational training or apprenticeship in welding 2-5 years of fabrication welding experience Valid safety certifications Work Environment: Manufacturing facilities Construction sites Metalworking shops Potential exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands Typical Tools: Welding machines Cutting torches Grinders Measuring tools Personal protective equipment
